Finesse was bred at Eastwinds and is the dam of many fine foals. One being the mare, Yzner Tantrums and Tiaras, sashed champion and supreme at many shows here in WA as well as a top 10 placing at the Aussie Champ's and Eastwinds Sequins a top 10 filly at the Aussie Champ's. Finesse has had another lovely filly for us this year. Her foals just get better and better. She has been re-bred to Nejm for a Sept '09 foal. Our lovely old girl will be 20 next year, she looks and acts 10, a credit to Arabian mares the world over.

Joda Alise

With the recent purchase of Joda Alise, it adds yet another dimension to our breeding program. Not only will we be able to offer straight Egyptian foals from time to time, but Egyptian related as well.

Joda Alise is by the 2005 National Champion stallion, Joda Aly Dahr and out of AR Bint Ghazala (imp USA). AR Bint Ghazala was Champion mare at a Challenge Show, judged by Judith Forbis, Reserve Australian Champion, National Champion, and top 10 out of 80 entrants at the Egyptian Event held in Kentucky, USA, to name a few of her showing acquisitions. Alise's pedigree is saturated with influential bloodlines found the world over.

It's with great pride and excitement that we welcome this magnificent young mare into our stud. Alise has presented us with a beautiful filly foal by the black straight Egyptian *Belbowerie Ebony this year. (*see reference page for photo) Our plans for her are to continue using SE stallions.

'Rosie' is a beautiful red chestnut with a flaxen mane and tail. She is a granddaughter of Naasser through her sire and great granddaughter of Shermoon, a Silver Moonlight (imp UK) son through both her dam and sire. Rose has the lovely light floating trot that covers the ground effortlessly. She has produced four foals for us, PP Preludes, the Multi Champion and Supreme PP Rabi'ah, PP Renata (pictured as a foal) and this year's filly. Renata and the '08 filly are full sisters.

(Eastwinds Star Wars x Mid'Summers Dream)

Rabi'ah is a granddaughter of Simeon Sa'ar (imp UK) through her sire and a great granddaughter of Naasser out of Naadirah (imp UK) through her dam. Rabi'ah is a six year old standing 15.3 and a bit! A lovely grey mare with four black feet, good bone and strong body. She has a remarkable temperament and has been a wonderful horse for a beginner to show in hand.

Rabi'ah began her show career as a yearling winning State Champion yearling filly in 2003, Champion yearling at the Junior Arabian Showcase in 2004. The State Championships in 2004 she placed in the top five. 2005 began with an agricultural show as a lead up to the Perth Royal show. Rabi'ah was sashed Champion Arabian at the ag show, Champion Junior Purebred Arabian at the Perth Royal show, Supreme Arabian at the Brunswick ag show, and Reserve Champion at the State Championship.

For 2006 she began by being awarded Halter Female for the Year 2005 by the Western Australian Arabian Horse Assoc. Inc. At the Junior Arabian Showcase in February, Reserve Champion three year old. The All Arabian in March will be her last show as she will be sent to the trainer to begin her education under saddle in the spring.

In the spring of 2008 saw Rabi'ah returned to the showring beginning at the Perth Royal show. She was ultimately sashed Reserve Champion mare. Competing at several Ag shows prior to the 'big one' she swept everything set before her. The climax of the show year was the State Championships in November. Rabi'ah was awarded Reserve State Champion mare 4 to 6 years. A fine end to a great season. Her next challenge will be to become the dam of many fine foals.............
