Peppermint Park Arabians

Proudly producing beautiful Arabian horses

Peppermint Park Arabians

Why an Arabian?  Why NOT an Arabian is my reply! Arabians are extremely versatile.  They can do every equine discipline known to man, and do each well.  He has the agility and grace to carry a rider through a flawless dressage pattern, fly over jumps, and do any pleasure or hack class with that extra 'oomph'.  Arabians love human companionship, nickering when you come to see them, and not because it's feeding time!  If you want a horse that is indifferent to your feelings, is worn out after an hour of riding, and only has the mental capacity to learn one thing, then the Arabian is not for you.  When you make a list and want all the intelligence, endurance, adaptability and versatility you can find in one horse, then you can only be describing the Arabian!

Peppermint Park Arabians was founded in 1999 and formerly situated in Busselton, WA.  The stud moved in 2001 to the farming district of Darkan, Western Australia.

We have been producing one foal per year using outside stallions until we built up our facilities in the way of small paddocks, shelters, stables and foaling paddocks.  Late 2004 saw the purchase of our first stallion.  The young Marbling Nejm.

We have acquired mares of various bloodlines. This gives our stallion a chance to see if he nicks with any particular line. But I will always have the Crabbet blood, in particular the mare Silver Fire, somewhere in our horses.  It seems to produce a wonderfully versatile horse that can compete in the halter ring as well as the ridden be it the hack ring, endurance track or the ODE.  Thankfully this will be achieved with our stallion, Marbling Nejm.
